One of the few airport hotels in Florence, the aptly named Airport Hotel is a small establishment that provides personalized service unexpected by airport hotels. There are only 22 rooms here, which is unusual for a transit hotel. Although used primarily as a stopover hotel, it is quite easy to get to the city center and visit the sites at a fraction of the cost of staying there. The rooms are spacious enough and there was a great deal of attention to detail in their construction, particularly the ambient lighting. Overall, this hotel is a great value and can be considered an inexpensive option to staying in the city center as well as a quick night before a flight the following day.
